Gardeners,

A few updates/reminders:

Fundraiser: We raised $508 in our street drive. Thanks to all who helped and special thanks to treasurer Marsha Lawrence who had to process all that spare change.

Locks: We continue to hear that gardeners are finding shed and/or water locks open or still set to the opening combination. Please lock when you leave or pass the responsibility on. And spin the combination after you close the lock. On a related note, I've heard that the Penfield shed  lock has been difficult. I'll be checking it out soon.

Wet soil: All this rain reminds us to warn about working in wet soil. Don't weed  or work the soil when it is wet.

Work day June 7 -- Save the date. Our next work day is Saturday. Organized work at Penfield starts at 10. At PHA, work on your own schedule.

See you at the garden,

Jack
