Garden Update: Work Day Saturday

Gardeners,

Reminder: We have a Work Day on Saturday, Oct. 25. This is our last of the season.

At Penfield: Gather at about 10 a.m. and look for Board Members to direct you. You'll work on bad aisles and clean the shed.

At PHA: We don't have an organized  work day, just help when you can. Sweep and neaten the shed and pull any weeds around the edges of your plots.

At Both: Can't make it? Help out when you can and police your aisles. Now or soon, take down trellises, tall stakes or other structures. All have to be down before winter. Boundary stakes are fine.

Send me your check -- Want to sign back up for next year? Make out your check to Plattsburgh Community Garden: $35 at Penfield and $25 at PHA. As usual, PHA residents have no fee. Include a note with your name, plot number, address, phone number and any other pertinent info. Bring it to the Work Day, or mail to --
