Garden Update: Fundraiser, Wood chips, Driving

Gardeners,

Thanks to everyone who came out for the street drive yesterday, despite the cold and wet. I'll let you know our total raised when it is computed.

At Penfield, we may not have access to MLD wood chips this year. So for now, we'll try simply weeding and mowing/string trimming aisles.

Also at Penfield, a reminder that we do not have permission to drive into the park. DPW workers have become very sensitive to cars in the park, so please don't drive. Several gardeners have been told to leave. You could be ticketed.

Warmer, dryer weather is coming, which means you probably have weeding to do.
