Garden Update: Street Drive Volunteers Needed Saturday

Gardeners,

Our annual street drive fundraiser is Saturday. We'll start at about 9 a.m. at the intersection of Beekman and Cornelia -- the intersection near Hawkins Hall. Park in the Hawkins lot. Because you will be standing in traffic, wear something colorful.

Can't come at 9? No problem. Come at 10 or 11 to relieve an early riser. Depending on the number of volunteers we get, we'll stay at least till noon, perhaps to 2 p.m.

Because of city rules, no one under 18 years old is allowed to work in the street drive.
