Garden Update: Are you OUT OF CONTROL? Sunflowers and corn

Penfield Gardeners,

We have a number of OUT OF CONTROL plots -- crops falling into aisles, over-ripe produce hanging around, weeds overgrowing plots. If you haven't visited your plot recently, this could be you. Please check your plot out and keep it under control.

Sunflowers and corn:  I've heard reports that some gardeners may have planted full-size sunflowers and/or corn in their plots. This is not allowed. These tall plants will shade neighboring plots and eventually fall into aisles. If you have planned full-size sunflowers or corn, pull them out. Dwarf varieties are allowed.
