University of Pittsburgh Office of Public Affairs Seeking Science Writer The Department of University News within Pitt’s Office of Public Affairs is seeking an experienced media relations professional to handle its fast-paced, science and technology beats. The position requires impeccable writing skills, sound news judgment, and the ability to handle multiple, deadline-driven tasks simultaneously. It is essential that the applicant be able to translate complex science and technology research findings into compelling lay language. A master’s degree in a relevant field and/or two to five years of experience is required.
