Bookbag drive - We need your help!

Dear Friends of PRC:

Greetings! It's been a busy summer here at PRC! As summer begins to
wind down, it's almost time for kids to go back to school. We would
like to do a bookbag drive for our refugee families to provide their
children with school supplies they need to succeed. We need your help!

We are asking for donations so that we can purchase the school
supplies for 50 boys and 50 girls (100 total), ages 6-17. If you would
like to purchase the items yourself and drop off the backpacks at our
office, we are in need of the following items:

-Bookbags*
-Notepads
-Pencils
-Markers
-Crayons
-Rulers
-Pencil sharpeners
-Folders
-Erasers
-Binders (1"-2")
-Combination locks
-Socks (boys and girls)

*Please note: If you purchase a backpack for a child, please be sure
it does not have wheels. The schools do not permit wheeled bags
because they do not fit into the lockers.
