WEEKEND RACE: (1)
2/28/26 Frigus Snowshoe Festival. We’re excited to announce FRIGUS, a winter trail race coming to Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort, New York on February 28, 2026 at 9 a.m. Register - https://www.endurancesociety.org/frigus
This year we’re offering two challenging and scenic distances:
4.7 miles with approximately 750 feet of climbing
15K with approximately 2,300 feet of climbing
We’ll also host a 1-mile kids race, making FRIGUS a great event for the whole family.
Thanks to an outstanding winter so far — including a recent 20-inch snowfall — the forest and trails are beautifully snow-covered. To top it off, Moreau Lake is frozen, and racers will experience a truly unforgettable finish by running across the lake to the finish line.
DION snowshoes will be on site with rentals. We'll have warm food at the finish, music, and a fire on the beach.
