Vicky set off the next morning.

First, he signed up for all the fitness blogs he could find.

Then he bookmarked every weight loss video on YouTube, Vimeo, and anywhere else.

A week later, he bragged: "I'm making serious progress! I'll be thin as a weed soon."

After that, I didn't see him much. Months passed.

Once in a while, he'd complain on the phone: "Those guys must be on steroids. No way you get that fit just from working at a gym."

Or: "That's all Photoshop. Nobody looks that ripped in real life."

Last week, I ran into him.

He'd added a few inches around his waist.

He still reads fitness blogs and watches weight loss videos…

…while eating potato chips.

John was different.

As soon as he decided to slim down, he did two things.

He started walking every morning. He joined a Yoga class in the evenings.

Rain or shine, he stuck to his routine.

Unlike Vicky, he didn't just 'want' to lose weight. He committed to it.

I see him often.

He's definitely slimmer than a year ago. Maybe not 'chiseled', but healthy and active.

When Johns read a creative idea, they use it in their next presentation.

When they buy our templates, they use them with energy and imagination.

I regularly get slides from Johns using our templates.

Seeing those slides makes my day.

I feel grateful to make a difference in their lives.

Look…

I can't choose who joins my list.

But I can say this to you:

Don't just 'want' to improve your presentations. Commit to it.

Don't just bookmark my posts and videos for 'someday'. Don't just save my emails to read later.

Take action.

You have to take action.

As they say, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
