1-Breaking Down Your Vision Into Actionable Steps

  • Buy a diary and write your short-term and long-term goals. It is a proven fact that writing down your goals increases the probabilty of making things happen.
  • If you like, use sticky notes and place them on your desk, refrigerator or cupboard, where you can see them again and agian. This techninque will help you to take actions and keep moving with your objectives.
  • Some people thinking of changing the world in one go. Thats impossible, right? You have to start from scratch and scale up slowly. So write down your steps one by one and put target dates against each goal. If you like you can use SMART technique to prepare your action plan. SMART means that each action must be Specific, Measurable, Acheivable, Realistic and Timebound. Do not define vague goals that look attractive in theory only.

2- Prioritizing Activities That Align With Your Purpose

  • Evaluate your commitments and eliminate the non-essential steps.
  • The 1-3-5 Rule: Choose one major task, three medium tasks, and five minor tasks to accomplish each day. This helps you focus on your most important objectives while addressing smaller tasks.
  • Time Blocking: Allocate specific time blocks in your schedule for different types of tasks. For example, designate a block for emails, a block for meetings, and a block for focused work
  • The MoSCoW Method: Categorize tasks as “Must-Have,” “Should-Have,” “Could-Have,” and “Won’t-Have” to clarify their importance and priority.
  • The Two-Minute Rule: If a task can be completed in two minutes or less, do it immediately. This prevents small tasks from piling up.
  • Delegate Tasks: Discuss with your spouse, brothers, sisters, parents and ask them if they would like to help you in this journey. Delegate some tasks to them and set some target dates.

  • Build Meaningful Connections. Surround yourself with people who share your values and interests. They can offer support and inspiration.

  • The value of mentorship and coaching. Stay connected with your mentors and like minded people.
  • Search on internet on what others are doing. Learning from others’ experiences and insights will add fuel to your passion and give you solid guidance.
