Capt. Harold “Hal” Hockett passed December 8, 2025 having suffered a fatal vehicle accident in Colorado enroute to his home from an extended road trip.
Hal’s Memorial Service will be at the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel at 1 PM on June 17th (the day before the Boat Ride in Stillwater). June 17th is the chosen date as it coincides with folks attending the Boat Ride the following day. Hal’s cremains will be inurned in the Columbarium (?) after the Service.
The address for Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel is 1 Tower Avenue, Minneapolis MN. It is also listed as St Paul. Location is right at the Junction of HWY 55 and the Crosstown just north of the Minneapolis airport.
