Word has been received of the passing of retired DL pilot Captain Sam
Albert. Born November 12, 1940 Selemon ‘Sam’ Albert was 71 years of
age at the time of his passing January 18, 2012. Sam hired on with
Delta 09-05-1968 and was based ATL.

Life Legacy

Selemon “Sam” Albert, 71, of Brooks, GA passed away January 18, 2012.
He was born in Miami, Florida on November 12, 1940 to Antonio Albert &
Nahima A. Albert. Mr. Albert earned a Bachelors Degree and is a
retired pilot with Delta Airlines. He is survived by his wife LuAnne
Albert of Brooks, GA; sons Michael Albert of Tampa FL and Anthony
Albert & wife Sarah, Tampa, FL; granddaughter Margaret Elizabeth
Albert also of Tampa, FL and 3 sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM
at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, 69 Mobley, Hamilton, GA 31811 with
Fr. Jeff Jackson & Rev. Stacy Sauls officiating. Interment will be
Tuesday, January 24, 2011 in Lake Wales, FL. The family will greet
friends Friday, January 20, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Carl J.
Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests donations to St. Nicholas Episcopal Church.
