Word has been received of the passing of retired NEA/DL pilot Fred
Haskell. Born in February of 1927, Frederick Eugene Haskell was 82
years of age at the time of his passing on November 21, 2009. Capt.
Haskell hired on with NEA in May of 1953 and retired with Delta in
February of 1987. Predeceased by wife Paula K. Britton Haskell in
1996, Fred remarried in 1999 and is survived by his wife Emily J.
Wilson Haskell. Arrangements are pending.
Personal condolences may be sent to the Haskell's home address:
621 E. Reindeer Rd., Lancaster, TX 75146-5116.

Just got a phone call from Norm Houle. Fred's wife Emily called and
said that Fred died today of a heart attack.
Very little information; Her address is; 621 Reindeer Rd., Lancaster,
TX 75146., in the Dallas area.
If some one from the area could contact her and give her some help.
Cell, (214 908-9910) Home (214 242-1226).
Norm said home phone is out until tomorrow.
Will have his sons e-mail later today.

Obituary notice:
Frederick "Fred" Haskell
Haskell, Frederick "Fred" An Air Force Veteran was born 2-24-1927 in
Lewiston, Maine and passed away 11-21-2009 in Dallas, TX. Survived by
wife of 11 years Emily Haskell, sons Ron Haskell and wife Janet, Paul
Haskell and wife Catherine, daughters Brenda Collins and Karen Girard
and husband Bob, step sons Damon Rogers and wife Nan, Mike Malone and
wife Vickie, 3 grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister. Fred Retired
from Delta Airlines as a pilot and he learned to fly at the age of 14.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Texas Scottish Rite
Hospital. A memorial service will be held in New Hampshire at a later
date.
