March 12, 1950  ~  August 26, 2026

 

David William Main joined Northwest Airlines 07-12-1979 and retired with Delta Air Lines.  He is survived by his wife Louise, and by his daughters and their families.

Having most recently resided in Georgia, I see the family’ address listed in whitepages as

812 Eagle Dr, Griffin, GA 30223.

Services for David will be held September 1 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home in Griffin.

David William Main Obituary

Mr. David William Main, age 76, Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his residence.

David was born on March 12, 1950, in Plainfield, New Jersey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Main, and Elizabeth Hunter Main; brother-in-law, Gyuri Nemeth. David served his country in the United States Air Force and was a retired pilot with Delta Airlines.

 

David is survived by his wife, Louise Currin Main; daughters and their spouses, Amy (Stephane) Allagnon, Suzanne (Shaun) Benton; grandchildren, Ethan Allagnon, Eric Allagnon, Kadie (Cat) Benton, Kaleb (Camilla) Benton, Scott Bennett, Kensley (Braden) Firth, Zachary Bennett, Carter Benton; sister, Susan Nemeth; brother, Jeffery (Nancy) Main; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with Reverend JoAn Kinrade officiating.

 

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, is in charge of arrangements.
