He went on to matriculate at Auburn University, earning an Aviation Management degree in 1970. Delta Air Lines hired Stanley in 1973, marking the take-off of a thirty-one year career jetting across five continents.
His deep value of learning and inquisitive mind lead him to better understand how the world works from quanta to the sublime expanse promised by the night's sky.
