after losing roll control in the 20E ontouch down, ( in a gustry X wind) I am going to lock out the 16 deg landing flap; it reduces stall speed by a couple of knots max,
but makes response time and aileron drag much worse, so much so that
the rudder can barely control yaw at 50 kts and full aileron.
I cannot understand why the extra 4 deg was designed in.
am I missing something here?
