It's spring, the most wonderful season of the year. For catholic
members it was Easter yesterday, for orthodox it will be next Sunday,
for other religions I'm sorry I don't really know :)
I encourage you to post on the Photography hobby group, especially
because I see some members amateurs turned professional and
enthusiasts that jumped to Nikon D60 as the main photo gear.
I have my reliable D40 and still using it. It's all I need for the
moment, together with the good old Nikkor 18-55 (non VR) stock and the
bargain Nikkor 55-200 VR. When cash will be avail I'd wish for the
great Nikkor 18-200, in order to have all range at my disposal without
changing lens (that can lead to accidents like dust inside the camera
or even drops of the camera or of the lenses - not yet happened but
nevertheless it can).
Maybe somebody wants to tell us what software uses for after shooting
and for online storage. I myself use Picasa, make light processing
like lighting up (I shoot EV -0,7 to have all the data the light up in
software), I gave up using PS because it's time consuming and
complicated to be honest. An for online storage I use Fotki with a
payed membership that allows unlimited space and very easy download
(Fotki Desktop).
Here are a couple of photos I took this spring
http://public.fotki.com/codz/flowers/
(first 25 pictures), all with the 55-200 VR Nikkor. Comments are
welcomed :)
