They should cover:
- Concisely about the philosophers in history, who they were and what
their points of view were on important topics, only the best ones like
Socrates
Most important:
- How to peacefully discuss your points of view with others without any
animosity with the other person what so ever, this takes time but is
very important in personal development
- How to keep an open mind in order to learn
- They should also cover the basic personal beliefs, like God and Good
& Bad, Right and Wrong
- How to argue your point of view intelligently
- Acceptance and understanding that everyone has a right to their own
point of view
These topics can help anyone understand life a little better and
prepare them philosophically for what's to come if they continue in
Philosophy,
In my opinion most instructors bypass these more important skills just
to avoid the problems associated with human nature.
Take Care All ;-)
