Hey, VinMotoistas!

I thought I'd look into another group purchase this year for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway MotoGP races and see if anyone was interested. Have people already started buying their tickets? If most people have, then it might not be worth it -- it was hard to pull together 20 new buyers last year after a few groups had already bought tickets, and a lot of work to roll those who'd already purchased into one VinMoto group.

The deal is pretty much the same as last year:

1. Free bike parking for the event. I think this year you can switch that to an auto parking pass if you have to drive a car.
2. Getting the VinMoto.org name listed on the displays around the track.
3. Parade lap on the MotoGP track on Monday following the race.
4. 10% discount visit to the Hall of Fame store.
5. 2 MotoGP souvenirs -- this is new, I think. Not sure what these will be.

I think it would be fun to get some reserved seating this year and have the VinMotos mingle; reserved seats can still wander the general admission if they want. Any thoughts on a good location? I thought there were some good photo ops at the Corner 7 Terrace, but I really didn't get to check out the seating near turns 1 through 4.

If you think you'd be interested, email me off-list and let me know. I'm just getting an informal headcount right now. If the interest is there, I'll send out some kind of notice on where you can sign up so we get an official count to reserve seats.

cheers,
tom
