Dear PACSCL Members,
Please join the PACSCL Member Engagement Committee and Philadelphia WikiSalon organizers for our first PACSCL Wikipedia Meetup, on Thursday, August 13th at 2pm. In this session, we will be adding finding aid links from the Philadelphia Area Archival and Research Portal (PAARP) to related Wikipedia pages.
This event will reoccur monthly, and our first topic is American Civil Rights and Abolitionist history. We will have a list prepared of finding aids already on the PAARP site that relate to this topic. We know that other institutions have great collections related to this topic, but they don’t currently have finding aids listed in PAARP. If you would like your institutions collections included, and you are not a contributor to PAARP, please reach out to Allison Olsen, alli...@upenn.edu, so they can be added to the list.
