What is HajjLocator? HajjLocator is an  Interactive Monitoring and Tracking System for Hajj Pilgrims.

The aim and benefit achieved by the HajjLocator:

1. To reduce worrying (peace of mind). Provide a tracking facility for the users when they perform hajj, for their family in their home country.

2. To rescue and save life. Provide carefully designed SOS button, when a user (especially elderly) is in a panic situation.

3. Self localization. Identification of own location.

4. To find peers. Provide each family member location information.

5. Value (low cost/affordable price).

6. Performance (fast in search and rescue of hajj pilgrims).

7. Reliability (Easy to operate - some tasks need only one click button).

8. Quality (Embedded in Mobile devices).

9. Reputation (Easy to carry) and has user friendly features.

Currently, it runs on iOS (iPhone), Android (Samsung), Window Mobile (HTC) and GT300.

You can start promoting your project using the following link around

To vote, they have to register in the system creating an account and
then casting their vote pressing the red square button at the top of the
application.

Once they have cast their vote, they will be able to promote the project
using social media, as a pop-up window will allow them to do that.

The voting will be open until the Selection Committee makes their final
decision (around mid-September).

This increases your chances to win, as the projects with the higher

Terimakasih bagi yg sudah mem-vote untuk HajjLcator. Features Localization dan group/peer tracking HajjLocator ini dulu saya kembangkan di School of Computer Science, ANU.

HajjLocator saya ikutkan dalam ISIF Asia-Pasific Community Award. Alhamdullilah saat ini HajjLocator menempati urutan ke-2 dengan 217 voters  dan jarak ke posisi pertama, sudah cukup dekat.

Rekans yth,

For the last 12 days, Hajjlocator leads in the 1st place at ISIF Asia Pacific Community award competition.
The voting will close at 10am (not 2pm, KL time) or 9am (not 3pm, Jakarta time) or 12pm (noon) Brisbane time, on  Wed 19/9/2012.

So, tomorrow (Tues 18/9/2012) is our last big push to vote HajjLocator to increase the chance of winning!
