Dear friends,

Some of you have been wondering where we are and what is happening. We
have returned to NZ on 17th Feb. and Su has seen an oncologist. To my
great surprise he confirmed that in his opinion, too, chemotherapy was
the right thing to do, as well as radio and hormone therapy. Exactly
what we were told in Bkk.

Wednesday the radiotherapy starts and lasts for 5 weeks. The side
effects are a lot less severe, so Su should start feeling better as time
goes on. She is already feeling better, in fact, which is a great relief.

We are staying with our friend Heike, who even most generously offered
to put us up for the whole time needed in Auckland. However, this is not
a convenient location to get to the clinic, so we have (with lots of
luck) found ourselves a very nice flat only 4 km away. When Su feels up
to it we should be able to walk to the clinic and maybe back.

Around 1st April we plan to move back to Whangarei. While there are
still no jobs, there are several possibilities of going into business
there, lawn mowing being one of them.

Yesterday, Heike gave me a lift to Warkworth from where I cought the bus
to Whangarei and retrieved our car. All I had to do was reconnect the
battery and turn the key. It started immediately, as if it had only been
parked for one night. I'm sure the bikes won't be so easy to get going
again. They don't like not being used.

Meanwhile, I will see whether I can land a temp job here in Auckland,
although I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Kind regards,
Peter & Su.
