Dear Friends,
We have finally moved into our new home. It has turned out very nice,
except there have been some problems with the toilets (fixed) and
drainage, mainly in the shower. This is probably not fixable, since it
would involve opening up the foundations.
In the end Su decided to have aircon installed right away and it
turned out to be the right decision. Although the house is generally
well insulated, with temperatures at night in the high 20s and around
40 during the day it makes for very comfortable living. On sunny days
our solar system produces all the power we need, unless Su starts up
the oven.
Meanwhile, Su has started a big tree planting program. So far, she has
planted about 500 and there will be at least another 500 more. We have
bananas, mangoes, guava, coconut, pomelo, pomegranate and jackfruit.
There will also be other trees, like teak. While Su plants, I install
the irrigation system.

Su's psoriasis got a lot better with the treatment she received in
Bangkok. She stopped going there since the virus outbreak, but is
still taking the medicine. A cyclist chasing dog caused me to fall off
my bike many weeks ago and I now have a sore shoulder that will not
get better. Doctor's treatment didn't work.
We hope this finds you well and please stay healthy!
Kind regards,
Peter & Su.
PS: last night we had a violent thunderstorm and discovered water
pouring in through the window frames on the side the wind was coming
from. The window man has our money, so I don't like our chances of him
fixing it. As we say around here: TiT - This is Thailand.
