Genealogy:
Genealogy means the study of a family history and family's lineage.
This information will be recorded in documents and known as a family
tree or simply to find a specific person in a family's past and
connect him or her to other members of that family. Information that
documented in the written record includes birth, marriage and death
dates, names of children and spouse(s). Genealogy can better view as a
subset of a greater discipline.
Importance of Genealogy:
Genealogy is very important for all of us. If we want to understand
ourselves better, it is important to understand where we came from.
Additionally, genealogy may be used to find lost relatives. Genealogy
is also helping those families that have been torn apart by some
larger circumstance. In the World War II, most of the genealogist
helped people by the war rediscover their families which are still in
Europe. You can easily search genealogy with internet it is really
easy way to find history.
Whenever you decide to make your own history, make sure that you are
being prepared for those questions that you want to ask. One more
thing is also important that take a prior interview of family. While
asking to about granduncle for information his parents and siblings,
they must be got frustrated. They said that time everything is written
in book over there. My great-grandmother kept record; these records
include her children and all relatives' information up to the time of
her death. Those records are helping too much to her family. So
genealogy is very important for all of us.
