I would, and while I can't immediatly speak for the aquatics community, I know that
this might be something that various groups could support. I am passing this email
along to the People for Pools email list. People for Pools is the core of a MUCH
larger network of folks that might be interested in this sort of proposal. Let's
see what sort of response we get from this group. Several members of the Aquatics
Advisory committee are also members of the People for Pools email list. I'm sure we
will discuss this at our 28 November meeting.

Thanks for the quick response.

Can anyone tell us (People for Pools) what a .05% increase would translate
to in dollars?

Thanks,

Go here for some detail: http://www.muni.org/iceimages/Planning/tax.pdf

A .05% mill rate, as I understand it, mill rates are assessed per $1000 of assessed
value. So, .05% mill rate = .0005 * 1000 = $0.50/$1000 of assessed value - $5 on a
$100000 house.

Is this right?
