Good News!!
There is definite interest in doing an internal tournament/ladder.
So, the first step is to figure out where people should land on the rankings. We will run a mini-tournament to help that effort.
Don't forget to put your preference of one or two dot ball next to your name in parenthesis.
In about a week or so, we will randomly assign you to a position on the ladder. From there you will play a few folks and report the results.
That will help us understand what the initial ladder should look like.
Then we will undertake the actual ladder/tournament.
A few things:
- All matches take place Monday or Thursday evening unless both players agree on an alternative time
- Matches are best out of 5
- Based on the ball survey we will choose whether the official ball of the tournament is one or two dot; however if both players in a match want to use the alternative ball that is fine
- Games are played to 11, win by two points; every point is scored
- Calling of lets and strokes is encouraged to avoid injury in the heat of competition
- Upon completion of the match the players will agree on who will report the results
Thanks in advance for your participation and looking forward to even more spirited competition.
Eugen and Rick
