Dear Roy,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the reopening of the Drexel Recreation Center.  We will reopen October 13, 2020 with the following hours of operation:

Monday-Friday: 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm

Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm

In conjunction with the CDC, city, and state guidelines, we have made changes to many policies and procedures.  Below is a quick glance at some of those changes but for a full review, please visit drexel.edu/recathletics/reccenter/rules-and-regulations/.

1. Facility Access: To access inside the facility, all students, faculty, and staff must make a facility access reservation on our online member portal.
   1. Each reservation is for 90 minutes, with 30 minutes in between each reservation designated for cleaning and sanitizing
   2. Entry doors will remain locked at all times so it’s best to arrive for your reservation within the first 5 minutes
   3. Patrons must show the email confirmation sent, for each facility access reservation, to access inside the facility

2. Waiver: A waiver MUST be signed to access inside the Rec Center
3. Masks: face masks/face coverings must always be worn while inside of the facility
4. Equipment Cleaning: disinfecting wipes have been stationed throughout the facility and should be used to wipe down equipment before and after usage
5. Drexel Health Tracker App: All patrons must download the Drexel University Health Tracker App, input their symptoms, receive a green check, and present that green check to the Rec Center employee conducting
6. Entrance/Exit: All patrons must enter the Rec Center through the 33^rd and Market entrance and exit through the Market St exit (near Landmark)
7. Areas Opened: fitness floor 1, fitness floor 2, and the basketball court (for usage of cardio machines only)
8. Areas Closed: all locker rooms, pool, climbing wall, squash courts, track, group exercise studios, equipment window
9. Membership: during the first phase of the Rec Center’s reopening, we will only offer two membership options:
   1. One Monthly: Drexel university faculty and staff may purchase a monthly membership for $20 a month, at the beginning of each month. A monthly membership will grant you unlimited access to the facility reservation system.  With unlimited access to the reservation system, you may make multiple reservations, per day and per week.  *The month of October will be offered for the prorated amount of $12.
   2. One Day: Drexel university faculty and staff may purchase a day pass for $5. This day pass will grant you access to the facility reservation system once. During that time, you may select one date and time to access the facility.  Please note, while you can see all of the reservations for that week, you should only select one time to access inside the facility
   3. Purchasing a membership: all memberships should be purchased online, via our Member Portal. Instructions for purchasing a membership can be found below.
      1. Visit reccenter.drexel.edu
      2. Click Log In, then click Drexel Connect, and enter your Drexel One credentials
      3. Scroll down until you see a picture with Memberships written under it, click the picture
      4. Click Employee Adult
      5. Select the membership option of your choosing and checkout

Steps for completing a facility access reservation:

1. Go to reccenter.drexel.edu
2. Click LOG IN
3. Click DREXEL CONNECT. You will then be taken to Drexel One where you will enter your Drexel One log in credentials.  Once you have successfully logged into Drexel One, you will be brought back to the Member Portal. 
4. Click three lines in the top left corner, then select PROGRAMS
5. Select FACILITY ACCESS
