Events for the week:

Tuesday:
What's it like to engage with North Korea? What's the best way to address the humanitarian crisis? How do we conduct reliable research on this "hermit nation"? Is change in North Korea in the near future probable, or even possible? Or is it inevitable?

If you're curious about any of the questions above, join Penn for Liberty in North Korea, the James Joo-Jin Kim Program, and KSA in this exciting discussion with three distinguished panelists!

Panelists:
Sung Kim (former U.S. Ambassador to South Korea)
Chad O'Carroll (Founder of NK News)
Hannah Song (President & CEO of Liberty in North Korea)

Wednesday:
Currently, there are about 100,000 Asian Americans in Philly, 51,000 American citizens, but only 7,022 registered voters, which means only 7% of the population is eligible to vote. Last year, over 74 volunteers and 12 organizations contributed to the historic Asian American Voter Registration Drive/Community Outreach Initiative. It targeted Philadelphia’s Asian neighborhoods with a 21 day door-to-door registration campaign, providing translated voter registration forms in Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Tagalog, with more languages coming.

If you would like to get involved with volunteering, come to the info session on Wednesday, April 8th at 5pm! Thomas Kang, the Special Assistant to Philadelphia Councilman David Oh, will describe the details of what being a volunteer will mean. This is an amazing chance for you to get involved with the Philly community and do some rewarding work--hope to see you there!

Friday:
Excited to experience a night life like never before? Join PTS, M@P and HKSA and come to our annual Night Market event to enjoy authentic foods, play interactive games, and watch riveting performances from some of Penn's best cultural performing arts groups! FREE admission!

Join UPenn Korean Students Association, Penn Csa, and Penn Philippine Association for a wild banger as we kickstart the Fling festivities by partying like we're gonna die young. This will be the night you won't remember, but the one you won't forget. Doors open at the Loft Bar (1439 South St.) @10PM and the party will timber on until 2AM.

*WARNING: You will not wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.

Discounted pre-sales will be sold by board members of KSA, CSA, and PPA (see hosts) until 5PM 4/10. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Sunday:
