Tommy has gone home to Jesus

Blessings and all good, fellow penitents, friends, inquirers, affiliates, and associates of the Confraternity of Penitents,

 

Thank you all so very much for your prayers for nine year old Tommy. I think many of us had the sense that the Lord would call Tommy home on this glorious feast of Corpus Christi. And so it happened. Here is the email from his family. And may God reward you for your prayers for this child.

 

What a glorious feast day to leave this earth!

Hello from Hedgesville.  With much sadness and tears, our sweet Tommy passed from this earthly life at 1:38 pm this afternoon and is with our Lord now.  He was wearing his Brown Scapular with many saint medals on it and was taken up today to heaven.  I asked for this "cup to pass" Tommy, but His will be done. 

We are still in shock.  We packed up everything from Baltimore with the help of the Kelleys and Granny & Papa this evening and are now back in WV.  We will be meeting with Brown's Funeral Home tomorrow at 1 pm and will let everyone know the specifics.

God must have needed Tommy more than we did.  What a huge void we will have
