Isabel Susan Ridley (née Spencer- Nairn) who died 16th April, 2009,
was a scion of the Spencer-Nairn Baronets (cr 1933). She was b 1937,
dau of Capt Robert Frank Spencer-Nairn (b 1910), late The Black Watch,
who was a son of the 1st Baronet; by his 1st wife the former Caroline
Isabel Chadwick; married 1966, Brig Nicholas John Ridley, late the
Queen's Own Highlanders, descended from the Christison Baronets, by
whom she had issue. Funeral Service on Monday 27th April 2009 at Holy
Trinity Melrose.

The Christison baronetcy (cr UK 1871) became extinct on the death of
the 100 year old 4th Bt in 1993. His eldest dau, Heather Cameron, m
1940 Col Charles William Ridley OBE, and Brig Nicholas Ridley is the
son born to the couple on 25 March (Times notice 4 April) 1941.
