He was s of Philip Douglas Vernon HACKETT 1902-73 by his 1929 m reg Q3 Fulham to Jill Fletcher 1911- d of Capt Frank Miller BINGHAM 1874-ka1915 by his 12 Dec 1900 m (St Margaret’s Westminster) to Ruth Morley 1872-1959 d of Alfred Evans FLETCHER 1827-1920 and Sarah Elizabeth MORLEY 1836-1926. He m first 1962 (div 1971) Juliet Alexa WINDHAM HACKETT b 1938 d of William Evan WINDHAM 1904-77 (2xgt gs of Sir William SMIJTH 7 Bt 1746-1823 now Bowyer, formerly Bowyer-Smyth, as well 7xgt gs of Sir James ASHE 2 Bt 1674-1733 etc) and Constance 1897-1939 d of James Hope LOUDON OBE 1868-1952 sometime head of that gentry family of Olantigh and Louise Wilhelmina FUCHTER 1872-1964. [He m second 1975 reg Q2 Chelsea (Elizabeth) Alison HOWIE b 1943.]
