From the Telegraph of 12 May 2016: DORMER  Sir Geoffrey Henry Lt Cdr RNR 17th Baron Dormer, aged 95 years, peacefully on May 10. Date of funeral to be announced. RIP.

He died just three days short of his 96th birthday on 13 May. He m 1st 1947 (div 1957) Janet d of James F A READMAN of Edinburgh and had 2 daus. He m 2nd 1958 Pamela d of Wallace Levick SIMPSON and had two sons. His elder son succeeds him:

William Robert DORMER (b 1960), has yet to establish his claim to the barony and baronetcy and appear on the Peerage and the Baronetage rolls. He m 1st 1985 Paula Sharon (?div __) d of Peter ROBINSON of Heaton Mersey, Cheshire, and had a son and a dau. He m 2nd 2013 Mrs Susan J VINEY d of Dr Robert RIVIERE.

The Complete Peerage (vol 4 p412) makes no reference to a special remainder when the title was created in 1615, by which time the usual remainder was to heirs male of the body of the grantee. I've no reason to believe that wasn't the case with the Dormer barony.
