From the Times of 8 December 2016: MR N W BROMLEY-DAVENPORT AND MISS J S PEYTON-JONES  The engagement is announced between Nick, only son of Sir William and Lady Bromley-Davenport of Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire, and Joanna, daughter of the late Jeremy Peyton-Jones and Mrs Peyton-Jones of Wendover, Buckinghamshire.

Nicholas (Nick) Walter (b 1964) s of Sir William Arthur BROMLEY-DAVENPORT (b 1935), scion of the gentry family of that name of Capesthorne Hall, and Elizabeth Boies, d of John WATTS of Oldwick, New Jersey.

Joanna Sophie (b 1969 reg Q4 London) d of Jeremy Norman PEYTON-JONES (1919-85), scion of the gentry family of that name, and (his 2nd w) Eva Louise d of Singhahl KJAER of Oslo, Norway.

I neglected to include Sir William's KCVO which he received in 2010.

Nicholas Bromley-Davenport has many illustrious American forebears through his mother, including William Alexander, a general of the American forces in the American Revolution who called himself Lord Stirling (he claimed the earldom of Stirling) and the mighty, landed Livingstons of 18th century New York, who claimed kinship with various titled Scottish Livingstons.
