From the Telegraph & Times of 12 May 2020: Jocelyn, of Bradford on Avon. Dearly beloved and cherished husband of Harriet, much loved father of Emma and Lucy and grandfather of Leon, Junay and Eva. Died of COVID-19 on Saturday, 9th March. Private Funeral with Thanksgiving Service to be announced.
He was s of Basil Percy Terence Henry FEILDING (1907-86), gt gs of 7th Earl of DENBIGH (1796-1865) & scion of the PORTLAND dukes, BATH marquesses, DUCIE, CARNARVON, CORK & EGREMONT earls, TORRINGTON viscounts, ASHBURTON barons etc etc, and his 2nd cousin Margaret Mary FEILDING (1908-89) also gt gd of 7th Earl of DENBIGH. He m 1st 1963 (div 1983) his 4th cousin Rowena Marion (1935-2008) d of Capt Simon Harvey COMBE MC (1903-65), scion of the gentry family of that name of Strathconon, and Lady Sylvia Beatrice COKE (1909-2005) d of 4th Earl of LEICESTER (1880-1949) and Marion Gertrude TREFUSIS (1882-1955) gd of 5th Duke of BUCCLEUCH (1806-84), and thus Rowena is a 2nd cousin once removed of Princess ALICE Duchess of GLOUCESTER, & gt gd of 2nd Marquess of BATH (1765-1837) etc etc, and had two daus as above. He m 2nd 1998 Harriet (b 1959 reg Q4 London) d of James Foster EARLE (b Dec 1930-d 26 Oct 2018) by his 1956 m (reg Q1 Surrey, Times 17 Jan) to Prudence (1931-2001) d of Lt-Col Ronald Leslie SYER (1903-ka1941) by his 1928 m (reg Q2 Surrey) to (Flora) Betty Fey EASON (1901-72, having m 2nd 1950 Bernard Cattell).
The notice is published on the 80th anniversary of his birth.
