From the Telegraph of 9 May 2026: WOODNUTT Martin Wreford, aged 79, died peacefully on 26th April after a long illness, with his children and beloved dog present. He will be greatly missed. He was s of Harold Frederick Martin (Mark) WOODNUTT MP 1918-74 by his 1945 m reg Q4 Hants to Gwynneth Alice LOVELY 1925-86. He m 1975 Susannah 1946-2019 d of William Herbert HARRISON 1909-75 and Elcha Cecilia HORE-RUTHVEN 1912-96 gt niece of the 9 Lord RUTHVEN OF FREELAND 1838-1921, title now merged with the CARLISLE earldom, and had a son and a dau (his son Piers b 1977 m 2006 a gd of 5 Earl of GAINSBOROUGH, and has a son and a dau, both in line to the lordship).
