From the Telegraph and Times of 24 November 2017: OUVAROFF  Count Stephen Peter, died on 13th November 2017, aged 82. Beloved husband of Aprille for 55 years, much loved father of Jason, Dominic, Alexander, Luke, Caspar and Piers, and adored grandfather of Lara, Alicia, William, Stephen, Katerina, Alexandria, Grace, George, Scartlett, Oscar, Poppy, Jemima and Louis. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 5th December at 1pm at St Peter’s Church, Church Lane, off Petersham Road, Richmond. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the BRDC Benevolent Fund.

He is s of Count Igor OUVAROFF (1901-39) and Aubretia Phyllis (1909-) d of Lt-Col Oswald Henry AMES (1862-1927) and Violet Dorothea (d 1953) d of Lord Francis Horace Pierrepont CECIL (1851-1889, s of 3rd Marquess of EXETER, gs of 2nd Earl of LONGFORD and gt gs of 1st Earl BEAUCHAMP, etc etc). He m 1961 (reg Q4 London) Aprille E (b 1940 reg Q2 Buckinghamshire) d of William George BRIGHTEN (1906-76) of Grange Park, London N21, and Betty Lilian HUSSEY (1914-93), and had six sons as above.
