"Marolyn passed away peacefully at her home on August 15th after recently celebrating her 90th birthday party. Marolyn was born and raised in Seattle on Queen Anne hill, the daughter of Dr. C. Luverne and Miriam Smith...

"While working at Boeing, Marolyn met her husband Bryan Mahon, their honeymoon including one of the first non-stop jet flights from Seattle to Paris...

"Marolyn is survived by her son Ross Mahon of Kirkland, her daughter Lilette Player of Woodinville, her brother Dr. Mackenzie Smith of Mercer Island and her 3 grandchildren, Madelyn Player, Bryan Player and Timothy Player.

"A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 8 at 2:00pm at the Mercer Island Presbyterian Church..."

Her husband Bryan (1913-2005) was a grandson of Rev. Sir William Vesey Ross Mahon, 4th Bt.
