Richard,

Further to your post, since Hugh Frederick is shown as unmarried in DPB Online, next in line would be his younger brother, James Timothy, b. 1996.

Timothy Francis Fetherstonhaugh NIXON was of that family, of Fermanagh and Cavan, which, per Burke's Family Index (BFI), last appeared in Burke's Landed Gentry (BLG) in the 1875 edition. The article on the family in the 1871 edition can be found at https://ukga.org/browse.php?action=ViewRec&DB=33&bookID=223&page=blg187101016; a later pedigree can be found on page 74 (electronic page 94) of "The Families of French of Belturbet and Nixon of Fermanagh and Their Descendants", by the Rev Henry Biddall Swanzy, MA (1908) - see https://ia804701.us.archive.org/23/items/familiesoffrench00byuswan/familiesoffrench00byuswan_bw.pdf.

The late Mr Nixon's father, Maj Brian George Michael Frederick NIXON (5 VI 1886 - 1950), is shown in the pedigree given by Mr Swanzy, and it may be seen there that he was a grandson of Dr George Alcock NIXON (c.1804/5 - 21 V 1853) and his second wife (married 27 XI 1847), Frances Willoughby YATES (died 20 VII 1867), eldest daughter of Sir Thomas Charles YATES by his wife (married 27 V 1818) Maria Isabella RICHARDSON, youngest daughter of Sir William RICHARDSON, 1st Bt (died 29 X 1830).

The late Mr Nixon's mother, née Rosemary Muriel ADAMSON (1 IV 1900 - 6 IX 1989), was the daughter of Malcolm Carey ADAMSON (11 XI 1873 - 27 VIII 1944), of that family, formerly of Rushton Park, Battle, Sussex, which, per BFI, last appeared in BLG in the 1914 edition (see https://ukga.org/browse.php?action=ViewRec&DB=33&bookID=241&pagecount=20&submit=Go).

The late Mr Nixon's wife (married 1959), née Lucy E M OBORNE (born 1935) is the daughter of Maj Frederick Victor OBORNE (8 II 1900 - 12 II 1989) and his wife (married 1933), Elizabeth Mary Ursula HELYAR (26 VIII 1907 - 6 IX 1999). Elizabeth Helyar was the elder daughter of Cdr Percy John HELYAR, DSO, RN (11 I 1882 - 8 V 1920) and his wife (married 1906, as her first husband), Beatrice Muriel Egerton WEBSTER (c. 1882/3 - ?). Cdr Percy Helyar was himself the younger son of Francis John HELYAR (1824 - 9 XII 1918) and his wife (married 12 II 1879), the Hon Ursula Georgiana ADDINGTON (1851 - 17 XII 1947), daughter of William Wells ADDINGTON, 3rd Viscount Sidmouth (25 III 1824 - 28 X 1913) and his wife (married 29 IX 1848) and first cousin, Georgiana Susan PELLEW (10 VI 1822 - 2 I 1896), second daughter of the Very Rev and Hon George PELLEW (1793 - 13 X 1866), third son of the 1st Viscount Exmouth, by his wife (married 20 VI 1820), the Hon Frances ADDINGTON (died 27 II 1870) second daughter of the 1st Viscount Sidmouth, Prime Minister 1801-04.
