From the Telegraph of 7 Jan 2026: The Hon J.A.H. Drummond and Gräfin Sophie von Einsiedel - he engagement is announced between John, son of Lord and Lady Strange, of Errol, Perthshire, and Sophie, daughter of Graf and Gräfin von Einsiedel, of Stuttgart, Germany.

Foreign (ie non-British) titles aren’t my bag so I’m hoping more expert posters will pile in here. The prospective bride appears to be Sophie b 1980 d of Count Curt-Hildebrand VON EINSIEDEL b 1944 (a descendant of the first German Chancellor The Prince of Bismarck, Count of Bismarck-Schönhausen 1815-98) and Princess Amelie VON URACH b 1949 (her m was a Princess of THURN & TAXIS).

As Sophie, a daughter of Count Curt-Hildebrand von Einsiedel, is already married to someone else, I suspect that the prospective bride is the Gräfin Sophie Aurora Fortunata Lätitia Maria von Einsiedel (born 1995) who is the third daughter of Graf Sandro Florian VON EINSIEDEL (born 1951), an architect in Stuttgart and Cologne.

I just note the engagement here of the STRANGE barony , right after reading of the engagement of the RAYLEIGH barony just minutes earlier.

Marlene Eilers Koenig also thinks she is the dau of Count Sandro-Florian von Einsiedl and Dorothee Philipps.  Her first cousin is British film director and Oscar winner Orlando von Einsiedl and she is a landscape architect
