Rose Balfour, née Webster, died at the Borders General Hospital on 22 October, wife to Robert, mother to Rupert, Camilla and Lara, and grandmother of Freddie, Thomas, Amelia, Peter, George and Oliver. Private family funeral. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Peebles Old Parish Church on Wednesday, 6 November.

Her paternal grandmother was Constance Combe, herself the daughter of Lady Constance Augusta Conyngham (1859-1941).
