From the Telegraph of 8 Oct 2025: EVERETT Sara (née MacLean) died peacefully at home on 2nd October, aged 91. Much loved wife, mother and friend. Funeral at All Saints, Enford on Monday 20th October at 11 a.m.

She was d of Vice Adm Sir Hector Charles Donald MACLEAN CB DSC DL 1908-2003 (s of Gwendoline Katherine Leonora HOPE (Mrs Donald Maclean) 1878-1970 3xgt gd of 1^st Earl of HOPETOUN 1681-1742 who was 3xgt gf of 1^st Marquess of LINLITHGOW 1860-1908, etc) and Opre 1910-2010 d of Capt William Geoffrey VYVYAN 1876-1914 (gt gs of Sir Vyell VYVYAN 7^th Bt 1767-1820) and Frances Mary 1874-1964 d of Edmund Salwey FORD 1837-1932 of Pengreep, Cornwall by his 1869 m (Lancs) to Caroline 1849-1929 d of Robert ARTINDALE 1802-55 and Charlotte THOMPSON 1809-89. She m 1955 Anthony Michael 1921-2009 s of Cyril Frederick Cunningham EVERETT 1885-1941 by his 1919 m to Marcella 1885-1957 d of Patrick LAWLESS 1838-1910 by his 1866 m to Mary KEENAN 1845-1920, and had two sons.

Edmund Salwey Ford's parents were the Rev James FORD (died 18 II 1877), Prebendary of Exeter and his wife (married 6 IV 1825), Jane Frances NAGLE (c.1800 - 7 III 1893), who was herself the elder daughter of Edward James NAGLE (died VIII 1802) and his wife (married 19 III 1798, as her first husband), Anne Cranmer BEAUCHAMP (1779 - 5 VII 1839), co-heiress of that family, of Pengreep and Trevince, Gwennap, Cornwall, which, per Burke's Family Index, last appeared in Burke's Landed Gentry in the 1952 edition. Edward James Nagle's brother was Sir Richard NAGLE, 1st Bt (died 1827).

Mrs. Everett's younger son, Rupert James Hector, b. 1959, is the actor Rupert Everett.
