During the Leveson Inquiry, Sir Brian Leveson - sitting as Lord Justice Leveson - had to remind people of his correct title as the press tended to incorrectly refer to him as "Lord Leveson". In his opening statement, he said:
"Good morning. My name is Brian Leveson. Although flattered that various politicians and members of the press have elevated me to the rank of peerage, I am not Lord Leveson: my judicial rank is that of a Lord Justice of Appeal.”

Now, he is finally to be a elevated to the rank of peerage.
