From the Telegraph of 14 February 2015: PELLY (Andrew) Desmond died peacefully on 9th February, aged 91. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Memorial Service will be held at St Mary's Church, Balcombe, West Sussex, on Thursday 19th March at 2.30 p.m. No flowers but donations, if desired, to Bomber Command Memorial Fund or St Catherine's Hospice c/o P.&S. Gallagher, Fraser House, Triangle Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 4HW.
He was s of Sir Kenneth Raymond PELLY MC (1893-1973), scion of the Bts of that name, and his w & 2nd cousin Elspeth Norma (1891-1978) d of Robert Campbell GRANT (d 1931) of Hale Edge, South Nuffield and Beatrice PELLY (c1864-1946). He m 1945 Nancye Jean (b 1924) d of Lt-Col Eric Tilyer TATHAM (1894-1982), and Hon Lettice Theresa DIGBY (1896-1967) d of 10th Baron DIGBY (1846-1920), and Emily Beryl Sissy HOOD (1871-1928), scion of the HOOD viscounts, and had a son and 3 daus.
