I had not seen anything before in either Burke's or Debrett's indicating that he had a brother, but indeed he did, as stated in Michael's obituary. His brother Stephen Ross Shaw died in 2017, shortly before their mother, Wanda, died. The sister, Cassie Hull, is a half-sister from Wanda's second marriage, as can be seen in Wanda's obituary. Steve's obituary calls Dennis Hull his "father". but possibly "stepfather" is meant?

"Steve and Diane were soul mates and best friends through many happy times and she will carry him with her forever. Together for over twenty years, they had lots of adventures..."

Their mother's obituary:

"Wanda Patricia Hull (nee Ross) passed away peacefully November 9, 2017 at Broadmead Lodge. Wanda was born October 19, 1920 in Windsor, Ontario and grew up in Victoria attending school in Oak Bay. She was married to Jack Wingfield Shaw in 1945, and had two sons, Stephen (Diane) who pre-deceased his mother on July 14, 2017, and Michael Wingfield Shaw. Wanda was married again to Denis Hull in Campbell River in September 1959 and they moved to Victoria and Cassie Ann Hull was born in 1963. They moved to the Saanich Peninsula in 1972 and Wanda designed her dream home in Deep Cove where she lived and adventured from 1979 until her move into care at Broadmead in late 2016. Wanda was predeceased by Denis in April 2000. Wanda found new life in her last year at Broadmead and Mike and Cassie would like to thank Gayle, Lisa, Mike, Romielyn and all the others who made her stay at Broadmead so memorable. Mike and Cassie would like to express deep gratitude to Wanda's caregiver Chantal, for the determination that it took to gain Wanda's friendship and respect."
