From the Times of 20 July 2024: GLADITZ Rupert Ivo Charles died peacefully on 10th July 2024, aged 54, at home in Brazil, with his husband Israel by his bedside. A steadfast and resolute Englishman and true gentleman to the very end. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May he Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.

He was s of (Alfred) Charles GLADITZ 1922-2014 and Patricia Barbara 1931-2015 d of Capt Frank Ashton BELLVILLE 1870-1937 scion of that gentry family of Tedstone Court and as his 3^rd w (his 1^st w was a scion of the Chester-Master gentry family & his 2^nd w was a gd of 13^th Earl of Strathmore) Barbara Bertha Mary STOURTON 1900-80 (as her 2^nd h, she was formerly Mrs Eric Tunnicliffe, later Mrs Harrison-Wallace, gt gd of 19^th Baron STOURTON 1802-72, etc etc).
