Richard D. KAPLAN died 21 January 2016, aged 82.
He was born 11 May 1933, son of Jacob M. KAPLAN by his m to Alice MANHEIM. He m 1985 (her 2nd h) Hon Edwina DUNCAN-SANDYS MBE b 1938 dau of the Life Peer BARON DUNCAN-SANDYS 1908-87 by his 1935 m to Diana Spencer 1909-63 dau of Rt Hon Sir Winston Leonard Spencer CHURCHILL KG OM CH 1874-1965 (gs of 7th DUKE OF MARLBOROUGH 1822-83 by his 1843 m to Lady Frances Anne Emily VANE 1822-99 daughter of 3rd MARQUESS of LONDONDERRY KG GCB GCH 1778-1854 by his 1819 m to Lady Frances Anne VANE-TEMPEST 1800-65 dau of Sir Henry VANE-TEMPEST 2nd Bt MP 1771-1813 by his 1799 m to The COUNTESS of ANTRIM 1778-1834, etc) by his 1908 m to the Life Peeress BARONESS SPENCER-CHURCHILL 1885-1977 dau of Colonel Sir Henry HOZIER KCB 1838-1907 (brother of 1st BARON NEWLANDS 1825-1906) by his 1873 m to Lady (Henrietta) Blanche OGILVY 1852-1925 dau of 10th EARL of AIRLIE 1826-81 by his 1851 m to Hon (Henrietta) Blanche STANLEY 1830-1921 dau of 2nd BARON STANLEY of ALDERLEY (and 1st BARON EDDISBURY) 1802-69 by his 1826 m to Hon Henrietta DILLON-LEE 1807-1895 dau of 13th VISCOUNT DILLON 1777-1832, etc. No issue of the marriage.
