From the Times of 8 May 2026: SPENCER-PHILLIPS Christopher Tyrell on 29th April 2026, aged 80. Died at Hospice in the Weald, Kent. Beloved father of Piers, Luke and Clara, beloved grandfather to his six grandchildren, and dear brother of Diana, Susan and Lucilla. A funeral service will be held at St Mary the Virgin Church, Rolvenden, on 5th June at 2pm.

He was s of Capt Patrick John SPENCER-PHILLIPS 1919-95 scion of that gentry family f/o Riffhams and Valerie Antoinette c1924-2024 d of Brian Gaire BLUNT of Ulting, Essex. He m and had issue.
