She was d of Capt Hugh Denis Sinclair BINGHAM (1914-46), scion of the CLANMORRIS barons, and Margaret Douglas (1921-80) d of Robert STEVENSON of Aloha, Dungannon, co Tyrone. She m 1966 (div 1985, when she resumed her maiden name) Bela Peter de DARANYI and had a son and two daus.
