A Sunday Times article gives a very interesting resume of the life of Freda Hodgson aged 106 and daughter of Sir William Willoughby Williams.Having survived Spanish flu over a century ago she has now survived Covid 19.In the 1920s her family had indoor staff of 15 and 30 outdoors.More recently in more reduced circumstances she was cook to the Queens cousin Jean Wills and  cooked dinner for the Queen. She was also cousin to Lord Langford who lived to be 105 years.Just one of her four children survive

But Lord Longford wasn't mentioned. Lord Langford was born in 1912 and died in 2017.

Hello David, her mother, Violet Henrietta Powell, is noted in Debrett's 2011 as having died in 1987; although her father Thomas Hector Powell is given as "of Singapore" (also in BP 2003), meaning that she might have been born there, there is one birth record for a Violet Henrietta Powell at Fulham in 1887, which, given the year of her marriage and the age of her husband, I feel is not unlikely to be the lady in question. In conjunction with a lack of any evident subsequent remarriages for Violet Henrietta Powell or Williams, a look at the death record confirms this: Violet Henrietta Williams b. 1887 d. 1987 at Bromley, Kent.

Yes: see https://www.maltagenealogy.com/LeighRayment/reppeers/peerrecords.htm

I understand that the longest-lived person who has ever appeared in "Burke's Peerage" was Katherine Plunket, daughter of the 2nd Baron Plunket. She was born 22 November 1820 and died 14 October 1932, aged 111 years and 327 days. Her [edited] obituary in "The Times" of 15 October 1932 reads: [...]

Yes she was a widow from 1915 for 69 years. Perhaps a record for a widow within the peerage?

No, as far as I know Margaret Dowager Countess of Roxburghe was widow for 70 years from 6 May 1682 to 22 Jan 1753.

Oddly, the newspaper clipping attached to the grave record says that A H C Phipps was son of Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps, who was actually his grandfather, I think.

other possible super-centenarians would be two of the daughters of Roger Messenger Monsey COLLYER (1874-1940) and (m 1909) Maud Winifred NOEL (d 1973) in remainder to the Baronetcy Dalyell of the Binns (NS 1685) and all of whom according to Debrett's 2019 are alive:

  • Helen Nora b 1909 m 1947 Clive B Medley - in fact she died 1 January 2007 - see probate search and also Telegraph announcements http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/51311/medley
  • Elizabeth Maud b 1913 m 1931 Frank Shaw
  • Ruth Amy b 1914
  • Winifred Noel b 1918
  • Judith b 1921 m 1944 Joseph William Warren (d 2007)

From the GRO indices - this matches her husband's place of death which is Shropshire.
WARREN, JUDITH      YoB 1921
GRO Reference:  DOR  Q3/1998 in Shrewsbury  (7151A)  Reg A56A  Entry Number 152

This may not be the correct person (note YoB)
SHAW, ELIZABETH  MAUD    YoB 1915
GRO Reference:  DOR  Q1/2002 in Portsmouth  (4971B)  Reg B59A  Entry Number 84

I located a marriage:
Winifred N COLLYER to William G DAVEY 1943 Devon Central, 5b, 135
There appear to be 1 son and 2 dau from this marriage.
There is a death:
Winifred N DAVEY, Q4 1958, Tiverton, Age 40, 7a, 784

For Ruth, I have a candidate marriage:
Ruth A COLLYER to Kenneth Y(arrow) ECCLES 1945 Chelsea, 1a, 840
There appears to be 1 dau from this marriage.
Kenneth Yarrow ECCLES dies 1976 Warminster, Wilts.
There is then a candidate marriage: Ruth A ECCLES to Godfrey J D BAH 1980 Warminster, Wilts. This might not be her, and I'm not sure the spelling of the surname is correct as I can't locate anything about the groom.
No death for Ruth under ECCLES or BAH. Of course, she may be alive.

and another super-centenarian still listed in Debretts is Mary Lillian Wallis formerly McConnell nee Grace b 1912 dau of Sir Valentine Raymond GRACE (1877-1945) 5th Baronet of Minchendon House (GB 1795 ext 1977)

I think she died 2002.

From the GRO indices:
WALLIS, MARY  LILLIAN    YoB  1912
GRO Reference:  DOR  Q3/2002 in Leicester  (6001H)  Reg H13D  Entry Number 65

There is a corresponding Probate entry for a Mary Lilian WALLIS (NB middle name spelt differently), date of death 8 July 2002, registry Oxford, which is probably the same person as no other Mary Lilian WALLIS died that year (except for Mary Pauline Lilian WALLIS, who is separately accounted for on both the GRO and probate indices)

She was the only peerage related person to make it to the Oldest in Britain website. The website aims to record everyone in Britain aged 107 and above. It means that there are still people born before the First World War too   "young" to be included

I wonder whether the "Mary Pauline Lilian Wallis" may be the one who was dau of the 5th Grace Baronet. She is buried at Windlesham, Berkshire, where she was reported to be living.
