The prospective bridegroom would appear to be the Benjamin WELCH whose birth was registered in Chichester in Q1 2000, mother's maiden name Vickers. I say this because, per company records, his mother, Mrs Christine WELCH (born 22 IV 1959), is shown as previously having had the surnames of Smedley/Vickers. I presume that she was the Christine VICKERS (mother's maiden surname Lister) whose birth was registered in Belper in Q2 1959, and whose first marriage, to Howard T SMEDLEY, was registered in Chesterfield in Q4 1979.
